Three Day Quotes Challenge ~ Day 3 ~ Dramajjang

“The world isn’t perfect.
Therefore, there can be broken traffic lights here and there.
However, in this place, every traffic light is broken.
Why do all these traffic lights exist at all?”

This is an article written by Kwon Sang Seung only for Dramajjang.co.

And the third and last day of the challenge has arrived! I will present once again the rules that can be broken in any way you want to! Three days, three quotes (book, film, drama, song, etc), one quote per day (or all of them in a single post if you want to), three nominations (i nominated 3 per day though), a beer or two or three, a juice or some tea, but definitely not milk, so do whatever you want to, except for milk, and give further voice to the quotes that never left after becoming a part of your world, unless they’re made of milk! As you may have guessed correctly, the quote in the beginning is from Awl; again. Before the final day’s quote i will proceed with…

…the nominations that will send off this challenge properly. *flies to the moon and back*

Mittamittamittami for Mittamittamittami reasons!
Chiaki-senpai because Milch has to visit all bars, then we’ll talk about music!
Snow chingu and her drama corner where she plants her drama thoughts with love!

When i was watching Fated to Love You screen-caps weren’t a part of my drama-watching experience and dramajjang existed, if it did, only as a thought in the form of a fetus. And that’s the reason why i will use a few photos from MBC’s official Fated to Love You page since i neither wanted to use someone else’s screen-caps nor i wanted to put screen-caps related to another drama because it’s the snail couple we’re talking about! They will always be among my favorite ships and even if the drama has reached the end it never stopped sailing, it’s still out there in the open seas in a world of snails, love and Lee Gun laughter! The quote i chose is a grand declaration of love in an ordinary yet humbly poetic tone when exaggeration surrenders to an ultimate form of dedication until the very last second.

Red wire, blue wire or rainbow wire.
I’d cut every last line in that bomb with scissors!
Even if i couldn’t stop it then,
I’ d look at you and hug you and do whatever i want to do with you
In the last moment of my life and i’ d explode with you!
(Lee Gun – Jang Hyuk)

The last song of the challenge will be one of my favorites, SG Wannabe’s Saldaga (As We Live). This is a live and beyond emotional comprehension version by SG Wannabe member Kim Jin Ho in memory of Chae Dong Ha. It’s as heartrending, devout and captivating as it can get and the moment Chae Dong Ha’s image appears on screen the sound effects do the talking.

Not One Litre of Tears? I thought you were gonna go sentimental on the first quote. (not that Gun’s lines weren’t sentimental lol, SNAAAAAIL)

I’m scared to watch that drama…..

      • December 24, 2015 at 6:47 pm — Reply

Oh, I haven’t watched it either; I’ve only seen some segments and it already started to destroy me emotionally, from MERE MINUTES.

My sister and Kwon have both told me that I have to be in a specific kind of mindset to watch it, so I’m waiting for that englightening moment to come (aka I’m scared shitless to watch it too, lol.)
Some j-drama fan I am..haven’t watched arguably the best Japanese drama yet. ONE DAY I WILL FIND THE COURAGE THOUGH)

Ya…. I like jdramas too but this one scares me but one day I will watch it. My real life friend also told me I must watch it but I’m a very emotional drama watcher so I picture myself a mess for days afterwards and I’ll probably cry most of the way through. Btw.Kipzizz.. I’m a final fantasy fan too. My fave is VI. I was playing 14 online but not anymore. Also a big Anime, Manga fan, but been focusing more on dramas at the moment (also I’m watching Yakitate Japan right now which is hilarious.

          • December 24, 2015 at 7:01 pm

I’ve read that the title is no joke, and there will be needed BOXES of tissues, so yeah, it needs practical preparation as well, haha.

Really? That’s great! FFVI was absolutely amazing; if it had been released with FFVII graphics (and in the PSone era) I think it might have been considered the best of all, instead of VII. It has a great set of characters and that sort of RPG story that sucks you in.
And of course, the iconic opera scene, damn old FFs rock or what.

          • December 24, 2015 at 7:18 pm

I was actually thinking of using the opera scene as my 3rd day quote. The storyline and characters are my fave.

          • December 24, 2015 at 7:45 pm

            You would do well!
I shipped Locke and Celes so hard; I was 12 when I first played VI, and I still remember being in (pleasant) awe watching the opera scene. Amazing segment!

          • December 24, 2015 at 7:47 pm

I think I was 12 as well (Hmmmm, maybe we are the same age?). I also shipped them. The opera scene was amazing. I replayed the game last year for the nostalgia.

          • December 24, 2015 at 8:00 pm

            (I was 12 in 2001, I don’t know when you were 12 though loool)

I make it a point to replay FF games (especially IV-IX) quite often; apart from the fact they give me nostalgia doses, they are (still) amazing games and you always discover something new when you play them/appreciate them anew.
The most time I have dedicated playing a FF though, was X-2. It took me weeks of playing to reach 100% and I’m not doing that shit ever again lol (X and X-2 were pretty cool as well, X possibly better. But old school is old school!)

          • December 24, 2015 at 8:42 pm

I’m older than you then. I was 17 in 2001. I played X but not X-2. The storyline to X was also good. Made me cry.

          • December 24, 2015 at 8:53 pm

Oh yeah the ending in X was a killer; I was actually surprised to see that they changed the original “thank you” of Yuna’s to “I love you” in US version. I am not sure which I liked more, but that scene was heartbreaking.

[lol this post is turning into FF nostalgia one, loool.]

          • December 24, 2015 at 9:01 pm

I know… I feel bad for Kwon…. We’re chitchatting in his comments about FF lol. Sorry Kwon.

          • December 24, 2015 at 9:06 pm

lol, he’s gonna be fine; he loves FF too. I remember he completed FFVIII in my house, playing with my big brother back in 00s with a WRECKED playstation; the ending disc kept getting stuck just before Rinoa found Squall “dead” and they had to replay it at least 4-5 times lol

            daaarn, memories lol

          • December 24, 2015 at 9:07 pm

Awww that sucks though haha. That must have been really frustrating.

          • December 24, 2015 at 9:10 pm

yeah it was! i bet both were eager to see if Rinoa and Squall ended up together, despite them claiming “WE JUST WANT TO SEE THE ENDING!!!11”

it’s all about the shipping in the end lol, it’s true though

          • December 24, 2015 at 9:11 pm

            Lol! Yep… You’re right 🙂

          • December 24, 2015 at 9:23 pm

p.s just curious, you’ve played FFVII right? Cloti or Clerith for you? /I DID say that it’s all about the shipping loool

          • December 24, 2015 at 9:30 pm

To be honest I never beat it. At first I guess I shipped more Clerith but I really liked Tifa. She was hot and I think I wanted to be like her.

          • December 24, 2015 at 9:58 pm

“She was hot and I think I wanted to be like her.”

haha, that made me laugh for a good minute!

Oh I’ve played FFVII many times, completing all the quests and such- I am a hardcore CloTi fan; actually I have liked Tifa the most, since my brother first let me play FF in general (back in 1999, I was barely 10) by giving me the controller and told me to hit all 6 YES to her limit break lol. The rest is history, I never looked back!
            Have you completed VIII/IX?

          • December 24, 2015 at 10:04 pm

I played them both but didn’t finish them either. I was in college so I didn’t have much time to play 🙁 then I got through X, XII, and was playing XIV till about level 50. All the guy friends of mine playing FFVII were all obsessed with Tifa. The boobs O.O

          • December 24, 2015 at 10:07 pm

Ah, you should if you ever find the time, they’re epic games.

FFVII is being remade as we speak, so with HD Tifa, those fanboys will come back for sure! ; p

          • December 24, 2015 at 10:12 pm

Omg… Hahaha. That’s cool. I’ll have to find time to play it then. Unfortunately I’m only good at having one obsession at a time so my gaming has suffered with my growing drama obsession. Do u know when the expected release is?

          • December 24, 2015 at 10:14 pm

Oh I hear ya, it’s one obsession at a time otherwise we will burn out!
Possibly (and hopefully) within the next two years.

          • December 24, 2015 at 11:11 pm

Merry Christmas kipzizz. Been nice chatting with you On Kwon’s post. *Hi Kwon (waves)

          • December 26, 2015 at 12:39 am

*waves back* Christmas Eve had a FF air for both of ya! Rinoa will always be the ultimate gaming love of mine and Squall will always be a male figure prototype, together they are a ship as vast as the sea of stars! *does push-ups inside Balamb Garden and summons Ifrit by mistake* XD

I think I only played about 10 hours in.

          • December 24, 2015 at 9:33 pm

I think I only played about 10 hours in. Who was your ship?

Hi Kwon! Just saw this….thanks for the nomination and as the description says…it will be a challenge for me 🙂 but I’ll dig deep and find some worthwhile quotes.. Merry X’mas!!

Merry Xmas Mitta(mittamittami) and you have Kwon’s greatest wishes for you and your loved ones! If the nomination will be more of a torment rather than an intriguing hide and seek between you and quotes feel free to skip it, it’s the only thing i don’t want to happen since it’s supposed to be fun ^-^

      • December 26, 2015 at 4:33 pm — Reply

You’re so sweet! No, not a torment. It’s a nice, surprising challenge but something that will help me grow as a blogger! Thanks Kwon!
