Remember – War of The Son Episode 9 Preview

(I think it's safe to say that this is the expression of pretty much everyone when they see Gyu Man popping up on the screen.)

(I think it’s safe to say this is the expression of pretty much everyone when they see Gyu Man popping up on the screen.)

The cliffhanger of the last episode left me reeling so when I saw that the preview came up a bit earlier I couldn’t help but write down a few of my thoughts- the first one being HELLSYEAH Dong Ho!

I have made it obvious that he’s my favorite character and also the one that confuses and angers me (and I mean the sorta good kind of anger, not the die-die-darling one I have with Gyu Man!) the most, but he seems to have come through for In Ah, fighting the good fight!

Him breaking down the glass signifies to my mind that he’s metaphorically breaking down the Ilho walls and will switch to Jin Woo’s side completely in the coming episodes; and yes, I do know I’m looking a tad much into an obvious move of having to break down the glass in order to get in lool, but it feels nice to see Dong Ho getting shit done that’s in Jin Woo’s favor (and In Ah’s) after so many difficult episodes.

Jin Woo yelling In Ah (has he ever called her simply with her name before? I need to check the previous episodes, I don’t think he has though) and then looking at Gyu Man’s picture with a new level of intensity speaks volumes. Maybe In Ah getting hurt changes his plans since it seems he gave himself up to the police- but that wouldn’t happen unless he had something solid to prove his innocence, which will probably come through that woman’s daughter cellphone evidence of logs or something like that. (hers/her mother’s mobile)

Gyu Man having another (his millions at this point..) fit of rage again, indicates that Jin Woo got something over him this time, so I can’t wait to see his got-pwned face and how things are gonna start to swift now that we’re in the middle of the series.

Onwards to episode 9, damn it’s gonna be good!

"There's nothing greater in life than loving another; it leads to love for your fellow people, your country..and the whole world."

I'm pretty outgoing from what I've been told; unless, you bad-mouth Ayase. Or Gakky. Or Ueto. Or Tori. Or Masaki. Or Kame. Hmmm, the or-thing is actually endless! You get the gist of it, right? ; p

my working theory is that dong ho’s been playing the long game since the beginning! he’s been saving jin woo time & time again though of course jin woo cant know that. jin woo & in ah’s naivety has been getting on my nerves to no end, but dong ho is certainly NOT naive and if he starts to direct traffic then it’s truly game on time for taking the bastards down…tho his old mob boss pal will probably get thrown under the bus. maybe he’ll take a dive though, who knows? 🙂 haha…this series has annoyed me with regards to the 2 leads but psw has been a shining light, cant love him any more than i love him. cmon show!

He’s my favorite on the show, and I can’t help but root for him because I honestly believe that he’s got the wrong (very wrong) methods but will get the results in the end.
I like both Jin Woo and In Ah even though they need to be more careful- but I can’t really blame them (especially Jin Woo) since time is running out and he (they) will make mistakes eventually; what’s important is how they’re gonna bounce back so I’m looking forward to that.

i like jin woo & in ah too…i am annoyed with the writers tho as i think that for two smart lawyers, one a genius…he she it could have made the intrigue a bit smarter & less naive on their parts. made for inconsistency in the characters. not their fault tho, and the acting is strong! i am crossing fingers & toesies that this latest scenario will result in more cleverness in the leads. when she walked after a murderer on her own i threw things at the tv. heehee 🙂
