She was pretty ep 10 ~ 11 review

Hello Dramajjangers

As I’m waiting for Kwon to come over for pizza, I’m writing this review. My schedule has been really tough, that is why I might be late for my review TT TT

But in “She was pretty”, FINALLY the truth is revealed. After Seung Joon goes to find Hye Jin, on the sight of the accident, they return home together. At Hye Jin’s place they part, but she decides to go after him and take the chance to tell him who she is. At that moment she witnesses, what should have been witnessed a long time ago. Min Ha Ri as Hye Jin talking to Seung Joon.

Btw isn’t Hye Jin’s hair supposed to get curly after the Rain?

Anyway Kim Hye Jin not only has straight hair now, but she is saint. She excuses Min Ha Ri, because she thinks she had her reasons to do, what she did. Shin Hyuk face, was pretty much the face I had, when I heard all these.

At least she is confident about her love for Seung Joon, but she expresses her feeling for him, to poor Shin Hyuk, who is always there for her.But despite her confidence, at work she avoids Seung Joon because she feels awkward about the hug they had the night before. Being a girl, I understand her awkwardness, but if I had Seung Joon in from of me I wouldn’t hesitate for the world.

After a whole day at work, with Hye Jin avoiding Seung Joon she gets trapped when she has to deliver him some clothes. There Seung Joon gets the chance, to make the greatest confession of all times. You don’t have to say I love you, in order to love a person. He puts his feeling simple.I like spending time with you and I’m always concerned about you, doesn’t this explain love in the simplest way?

Let’s take a break here for one cute scene of this episode. I know the girl is chaebol digger, but she got stuck with the cutest employee, that’s a lucky girl.

Shin Hyuk doesn’t seem able to find his love thought, knowing that, he seems like is going to give up. Love is a battlefield and he decides to surrender with a goodbye hug from Hye Jin.

Seung Joon waits for Min Ha Ri, at the hotel where he sees her real name on the wall for the best employee. FINALLYYYYYYYYYYY.

“Who are you Min Ha Ri” says Seung Joon, as he looks at her with his judging eyes. WHO ARE YOU?????? I was so much waiting for that scene and it was done simple and nice. Min Ha Ri once again says, I wanted to explain earlier aka never and says the truth.

Then Seung Joon realises that Hye Jin is his childhood friend and all the thoughts he had she might be that girl, they get confirmed. Min Ha Ri tries to talk to him but he simply runs to his first and only love, leaving Min Ha Ri crying. Seriously cry us a river. Girl what did you except, be thankful you got away from it nicely.

He finds Kim Hye Jin and they finally spend time together, with their real identities. He blames his self for not realising who Hye Jin was earlier and it’s a well deserved blaming, but we forgive your handsome face.

He tells Hye Jin that, it wouldn’t matter to him if she had appeared as she was. I can believe that since he fell for Hye Jin, while she was the not make overed Hye Jin.

Min Ha Ri plays it cool and she pretends to be ok with everything. I’m confused to who is in fault here, since Kim Hye Jin and Mi Ha Ri make it looks like, Ha Ri is the victim. She lies to her friend. pretending she is back to her old life. but Hye Jin finds her crying.

Feeling guilty about Min Ha Ri, for whatever reason. She decides to keep it typical with Seung Joon, making him confused.

But despite the fact that she trying to avoid her love and making everything for her lying friend to feel comfortable. Min Ha Ri stays an annoying character and declares she is going quit, please do.

We are to the point where Min Ha Ri even when she is not lying, she gets in the way of Hye Jin’s love life in other ways. Thankfully Hye Jin talks everything out with Seung Joon, when he goes to her parent’s place and spends the night. I would be really frustrated if episodes went, with Hye Jin avoiding Seung Joon because of the liar.

Seung Joon I like you too and I like you even more when you ask Shin Hyuk to stay in the end of the episode. I forgot to mention that Min Ha Ri is leaving with her mother and Hye Jin goes to find her at the airport but I care more, about Shin Hyuk staying and that is what I expect from the next episode.

I was wondering where the story would go once the truth is out, and I must say I don’t know what to think. I can’t say I liked these 2 episodes nor that I disliked them either. I feel like there are missing pieces somewhere to connect the dots about why they act as they act now that everything is revealed.

Like we see Ha Ri crying, but why is she really crying? maybe a couple of scenes with her and Shin Hyuk who is also heartbroken could have helped not to make it so melo. I mean, does she cry only because she lost Sung Joon or because she also lost Hye Jin? I want to believe it’s for both reasons (because of her letter) and not only for the first one which Show emphasized a lot to turn her into a selfish coward… Then again, it also depends of how you perceive the Hye Jin-Ha Ri friendship before Sung Joon. Personally, I don’t think Ha Ri was meant to be the cliché “she’s beautiful= she’s evil, doesn’t care about others and torments the Candy girl for fun”. I think they balanced out and helped out each other in a way that made them both happy. Show could have given Ha Ri a chance to act on that. The point was for Sung Joon to find out without Ha Ri telling him, and it still could have worked with her giving him the letter and the letter getting lost or him never finding the time to read it… At least she would have shown some courage and prove with her actions what Hye Jin means to her. Instead, Show goes the noble idiocy road with Hye Jin, acting like she can’t be with Sung Joon now because of Ha Ri., so Ha Ri is still in the way, although Sung Joon pushed her out.. Why after getting through all that trouble? I think it was nice how Sung Joon was honest about how he likes present Kim Hye Jin, but the discussion over and over again with her not telling him “it’s b/c of Ha Ri”, then her and Ha Ri fighting over “I’ll leave so you two can be happy.” “No, I’ll leave so you two can be happy”, why? He already made his choice anyway, told present Hye Jin he would love her, regardless of their past friendship (which we know it’s true because Show showed us in rge 10 previous episodes), so why? It’s like all of this could have happened before Sung Joon knew about Hye Jin being his childhood Hye JIn and it would have mad sense because Sung Joon was planning to “break up” with Ha Ri for present Hye Jin anyway. Making Ha Ri’s mom come back from Japan was very convenient to push Ha Ri to leave, but still… why? Like I said, I feel like I’m missing something here, matbe the next episode will make it clearer. The last stage will be the reveal of Shin Hyuk’s identity, although I don’t see how much of a climax it can bring now? Well, there’s still one month to go for the characters. Will “Most’ be discontinued? Will Hye Jin embrace a career as a writer? One thing, though. I was impressed by Hwang Suk Jung’s good pronunciation when she spoke French.

I agree with everything you said. They turned Ha Ri into a coeard and unlikable character, she wouldn’t even say anything to Hye Jin, even when Shin Hyuk told her she knew the truth. I would prefer for the revalation to happen more intresting, not that I didn’t like the episodes. But sometimes it seems they could make things better. Are you from France?

I studied French in school for three years, but I remember only things like “ca va?” “ca va bien merci”. I have many friends in French that they’ve come to Greece for vacations.

I did! I wasn’t old enough to fully understand the big opportunity it was to visit such historical places, but I totally enjoyed the food. XD
